Judo- ages 6 and up
Translated as "the gentle way" and the parent art to modern Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Judo was designed to be an art that is safe to practice at full force by any age or skill level.  The maxim of Judo is "maximum efficiency with minimum effort". The goal of Judo is to use leverage or the opponent's own motion against them to effortlessly put them on the ground where they are no longer a threat.

Total Fighting Concepts Jujitsu

TFC JuJitsu- Ages 5 and up

Founded in 2004 and vetted by MAUA instructors with over 50 years of combined experience, this self-defense system has proven to be an effective approach to fighting.  Total Fighting Concepts (TFC) JuJitsu uses a selection of techniques comprised from Brazilian and Japanese Jujitsu, Filipino Arts, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Judo. These techniques are broken into sections and categorized by ranges (ground, grappling, striking, kicking, and weapons ranges) to teach self-defense concepts; this is what makes the system unique.
